Dental Implants are an alternative to dentures & bridges for replacing missing teeth. Apart from FRC & dental bridges, dental implants are among the permanent teeth replacement procedures. This treatment requires minor surgical procedure to place the implant into the jawbone. The titanium screw used in dental implant will be inserted into the bone & then attached to dental crown.

- Bones will be preserved for a longer time & prevents bone resorption
- Teeth will not move & become loose. Implants will function as if original teeth
Disadvantages:
- Requires high cost
- Not suitable for everyone to make an implant. Implants are recommended for those with uncontrolled diabetes.
